We are supposed to get a hurricane - yep a hurricane in NJ! - on our due date! So as I watch the news, which is on 24/7 for storm coverage, I'm trying to not get nervous as they talk about downed trees and no power. We aren't directly in the path, but they declared a State of Emergency and said to stock up on water & food, as they expect downed trees and flooding to make it hard to get out. Thank God TJ will be home for the next 3 weeks with me - I would be terrified if I was going to be home alone. I know he'll get me to the hospital if I need to go.
The Outer Banks - our favorite vacation spot, where Ive been going since I was 8, is expected to get hit HARD with the hurricane in the next 24 hours.. Our poor little island! Keeping Hatteras in my thoughts today... (and that picture of my 'old' body is good inspiration to get moving ASAP after the baby comes...)
I really hope that she comes on her own, soon preferably!! I'd like her to pick her own Birthday :)
Not much else happening today, except I'm having some pretty painful contractions - although they aren't regular at all, so considering I have contractions all the time, I'm not getting my hopes up.
